On November 22, 2012 Walk Bike Costa Rica will trek 200 km Slow Bike Tour across Costa Rica from Guayabo National Monument to the University for Peace. Those who care to share and explore please contact the WBCR for more details. Below is our Mission and a few facts on Guayabo and the UPeace.
THE MISSION
Bike across Costa Rica is designed to build a Sustainable Bike Culture, mentally-physically-spiritually in the Lungs of the Universe. By achieving this ride across Costa Rica we will generate a global standard of exploring nature through our unified purpose to Ride the Rainforest Green. We will manifest our Mission in three specific ways.
1. Mentally- We will clarify and bridge the mental gap between Adventure Racing and the Slow Bike Culture.
2. Physically- We will raise the funds necessary to have a cross country ride for the Great American Quest for Bike Builders in CR, Central America.
3. Spiritually- We will ride across the Central Valley of Costa Rica to be a living example in using self propelled transportation in exploring the rich wonder of Costa Rica
WE HOPE YOU WILL COME AND BUILD, EXPLORE AND PRESERVE WITH US AS WE RIDE THE RAINFOREST GREEN!
