There is a magic that happens to people when they hear about Bamboo Bikes. Perhaps, the long lost child within awakens in wonder trying to imagine riding a bike, much less, a bike made out of Bamboo? You must feel the same?  Come on… your on the page, right?

When one discovers that  I made my bamboo bike with my own two hands, the intrigue of peoples imagination elevates with a series of “How” question’s to follow? Making Bamboo Bikes by hand?  Is there a metal bar in the middle of the Bamboo? What is the weight capacity?  All the questions and faqs you need to know to build your own bamboo bike click here

Bamboo Bike Building is not a new invention. In the early 1900′s most bikes where made from wood.  Some have been noted out of bamboo, as well.  The innovative engineer’s of Bamboo Bike Studio believe, “The best bike is the one you build yourself”.  I would have to agree with them simply from  my own experience.

Yeap… I made my bamboo bike on August 28, 2010 I roamed North from my little jungle abode in Cuidad Colon, Costa Rica to build my first bike with Bamboo Bike Studio in Redhook, New York.  This will not be my last bamboo bike I will build either.  I promise you this.   I had no idea what I was getting myself into.  Alls I wanted was a Bamboo Bike.  I traveled far and wide, within and around, to make this dream come true.

The preparation for the trip, the process in making the bike and getting the little darling into Costa Rica was an adventure.  I rode my freshly hand made bike out of the Studio into the urban flow of NYC on a hot and breezy summer night in Brooklyn.  A definite, top 10, lifetime experience.

Since August 2010 I’ve been working daily to bring the first Bamboo Bike Workshop to Costa Rica, Central America.  If all goes well we will be training and ready to have our first workshop in 2012.  Thanks so much for all your patience.   Stay tuned in for more information.

Thanks a lot for giving everyone an extremely nice chance to read critical reviews from here. It is often so pleasurable and full of a lot of fun for me personally and my office mates to search your site at least 3 times weekly to read the new stuff you have got. And definitely, we are actually astounded with the amazing ideas served by you. Selected two ideas in this article are truly the most impressive we’ve ever had.
